Despite the big 4.0 engine, these are way lighter than Mustangs & Camaros but are even easier to build & work on.
My ideal spec (4.0, 5-speed, short bed, 2WD) weighs about the same as my Toyota MR2. But the Jeep has almost double the displacement and torque.

Its an entirely impractical motor but just goes to show what can be done. 505 Performance does a lot of cool stuff with these motors with decent pricing. Skip to 3 minute mark for startup.

This is for sale by a friend of mine, we road tripped it back from CA this spring (I’m in one of the pictures in the listing). It’s very good.
